Joshua Zamir is a real estate professional with over twelve years of experience in the profession. He is a managing principal of Capstone Equities and Capstone Equities Real Estate Fund I, a vehicle for commercial investments in the New York City and Washington DC markets. The fund’s most recent acquisitions are 156 William Street and 14 Wall Street. His primary responsibility is to seek out investment opportunities for the company and its equity partners, and lead all capital market relationships and financial structuring of deals. He shares responsibility in negotiating purchase contracts, structuring joint venture agreements with equity partners, and managing transaction closings
He was a managing principal of Zamir Equities, LLC, a Manhattan based real estate acquisition and investment firm that acquired 2.5 million square feet between 2004 and 2006 including such prominent New York City assets as 44 Wall Street, 40 Broad Street and 132 West 31st Street (Penncom Plaza). Prior to that he was the Managing Director at The Moinian Group where his responsibilities included the management and acquisition of four million square feet of real estate within their New York portfolio as well as managing over 1,200 rental units including 100 John Street, 90 Washington Street, 545 West 34th Street and 1 West Street.
His educational attainments include an undergraduate degree in finance and a graduate degree in real estate finance, both from New York University, and a MBA from Columbia University’s Business School. In 2002, Josh was named to Real Estate New York’s “40 under 40” list, which profiled New York’s brightest young minds in the world of real estate. Joshua also serves on the Boards of: Friends of Hudson River Park Trust, AIPAC, and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. Josh is also a member of the Pension Real Estate Association and the Urban Land Institute.

Daniel Ghadamian, principal of Capstone Equities, has multiple responsibilities at Capstone including leasing, sales, marketing, and public relations. In addition, he shares responsibility for sourcing new deals, asset management, construction, and redevelopment. Previously, Daniel was with Zamir Equities where he was involved in commercial management and leasing, legal affairs, construction, and investor relations. He became the director of acquisitions and assisted in the purchase and refinancing of over 2.5 million square feet, such as the acquisitions of 80 Broad Street, 5 Hanover, 132 West 31st Street, 40 Broad Street, and 515 E. 72nd Street.
Earlier in his career at Deutsche Bank, he assisted in investment analysis, risk/return modeling, researching and analyzing the effect of economic, demographic, financial, legal and market driven factors on investment real estate, counseling real estate developers on financing strategies, and interaction with institutional investors. Daniel attended the George Washington University where he earned his degree in Finance. |
