John Rhim is a real estate professional with many years of experience. He is responsible for the underwriting of new acquisitions and shares responsibility for sourcing and structuring acquisitions, due diligence and asset dispositions.

Before joining Capstone Equities, John worked at Interventure Capital Group where he was responsible for underwriting and analyzing various assets and portfolios. Prior to that, he worked at Angelo, Gordon and Co. as a Real Estate Long/Short Equities Analyst for 3 years. He also served as a Real Estate Investment Banking Analyst for Morgan Stanley in New York and Hong Kong.

John graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1998 with a B.A in Economic and a Minor in Business

Jonathan Scheinberg serves as In-House Counsel and Vice-President of Capstone Equities. He plays an important role in structuring joint ventures with equity partners, managing transactions, negotiating and drafting all leases as well as sourcing new investment opportunities.

Previously, he worked as an Associate at Schulte, Roth and Zabel, LLP and later at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer and Feld LLP where he represented private equity and hedge funds, owners and developers of investment properties in the acquisition/disposition, development, complex joint venture structuring and financing as well as advising investment managers with respect to the formation of real estate, private equity, hedge and funds-of-funds.

Prior to law school, he started his career as an investment banking analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Jonathan graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor Degree in Economics and went on to graduate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with concentrations in both Real Estate and Taxation.
